A LITTLE BIT ABOUT CHRISTY : A BRIEF BIO & SERVICES OFFERED

It could well be said that Christy's love of singing began at the age of three when she won a gold medal at the Peel Music Festival. She was the youngest, the smallest, and the loudest in her category.

In the seventies, Christy began her teaching career in Regina, where she specialized in Music and Drama in the elementary schools.

She performed in various musicals at the Regina Centre of the Arts, and also sang with The Elizabethan Singers (a nationally reknowned troupe based in Regina).

In the eighties, Christy continued teaching Music and Drama in Brampton and Mississauga. She founded Playhouse 82 in Mississauga while performing there and in Brampton in various productions as singer, actor and musical director.

In the nineties, Christy became a co-founder of Caprius Dinner Theatre in Mississauga. She performed there and also at the Limelight Supper Club in Toronto.

More recently she has performed a number of times on the main stage at Roy Thomson Hall, singing several solos in each production.
